[6] Mainly the following clarifications were sought:

Data on Generation of hazardous wastes and other wastes: Is there a significant increase/decrease in the reported generation amount compared to the data reported for the previous year(s)? If yes, whether it would be possible to provide suitable explanatory note? Are these amounts estimated amounts? Whether the generations amounts provided in Tables 8A and 8B are compatible?

Data on transboundary movements of hazardous wastes and other wastes: Whether the ‘unspecified’ wastes reported fall under the scope of article 1(1)a or article 1(1)b of the Basel Convention? Whether reported data includes ‘non‑hazardous’ wastes? Is there a significant increase/decrease in the reported export/import amount compared to the data reported for the previous year(s)? If yes, whether it would be possible to provide suitable explanatory note? Whether the data reported refers to the actual transboundary movement that took place in the given year or it refers to the permits issued in the given year?
