Importance of Paris, to UK visitors and the change in popularity of Paris as a resort.

France is well known for the city of love, Paris. Many visitors go to France, but few are British. France s popularity has decreased through the years slowly, because of the government disallowing British beef in the BSE crisis, and because of the fuel crisis too. The importance of this change is that many British feel that the French go a little over the top with their actions, and therefore they do not wish to re-visit the country, because they have an unpleasant stay.

The arts are as important in modern Egypt as they were in ancient times. Egypt has produced many great writers, like Naguib Mahfouz; he is one of the most famous. He wrote many novels and lots of short story collections, as well as screenplays and several theatrical productions. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1988 and he was the first Arab writer to be honoured.
